The boys, and staff, were in fine voice earlier this week as they participated in the House Song competition. Much hand clapping, toe tapping, and arm waving ensued. Some classic songs were given a Bruern makeover with Wellington belting out 'I'm Still Standing' by Elton John, Nelson reworked 'Eye of the Tiger' by Survivor and Churchill forming their own Bruern boy band singing 'I Want It That Way' by the BackStreet Boys. Drake sang an original composition called 'Any Other Day' written and arranged by Year 8 pupil Max M.
Mr Floyd acted as Bruern's very own, Simon Cowell and the results are as follows:
Joint First prize awarded to Drake and Nelson with Wellington and Churchill awarded joint third place.
