Upper Sixth A v The Oratory
Bruern travelled away to The Oratory for this week's football fixture. With parts of the ground still frozen it made playing football very difficult. The Oratory took an early lead, but Bruern continued to battle on. Xavi L hit the post just before half-time with a shot from inside the box. The half-time whistle went with The Oratory 2-0 up. With a change in formation at half-time Bruern came out with a much more attacking mindset. We had plenty of chances, but we just couldn't get the ball across the line. The scoreline finished 8-0 but that didn't reflect the game properly.
