The juniors and seniors enjoyed another cracking tennis match against Pinewood school this week. We had depth of talent in both teams and pulled off a majestic win overall with some fine play on display. The seniors had a battle on their hands but just pipped Pinewood by a few games through determination and resilience. Leo T and Pierce G ended up playing American doubles on their own because of injury on our side, which was a good experience for them. Dante K. and Pierce G. had some cracking rallies, hit the ball hard and engaged at the net to wow the crowds. Lucas D. and Theo R. were solid as first pair.
Meanwhile, the juniors won a bit more comfortably and were led from the front with first pair Kit T and Felix P winning all of their matches. Blake J and Zac V put up a good fight and played some impressive tennis as did our final pair Francis F and Jack P. The juniors are coming on very nicely and it is great to see that so many of them are keen to play tennis! The future looks bright!!
