The first cricket fixture for the Senior school took place on familiar grounds at the Prep school. Having won the toss, the junior boys soon had the senior school in trouble with some excellent bowling from Bruno T, Will and Anthony C. Some determined batting from Captain Louis J supported by Lucas G helped the scoreboard tick along before Ollie F hit back with three wickets. late runs from Harvey and Henry M took the score to a respectable 82 from the twenty overs. In reply, the Junior school innings also was in trouble early on with wickets falling regularly to Lucas G, George M , Louis J and Henry M. Max M battled hard in the middle of the innings but more good bowling from Joe B and Ishaan C put the junior school under more pressure. Rupert played some aggressive shots towards the end. Finally, the junior school finished on 59 from their 20 overs. A great development games for both sides.
