On Wednesday afternoon the Seniors headed to Abingdon for an awesome afternoon of Rugby. Our captain, Aidan P, led the boys in a much needed warm up and words of encouragement before directing the boys onto the Frosty pitch. The team had mastered their positions out on the field superbly as our very own Tom H scored the game's first try in only a few minutes of play! The first half showed Abingdon in the lead, however, this made Bruern come out stronger and hungrier for the second half. Despite the fact that many of the boys hadn’t tackled in a match before, they showed no mercy when it came to stopping the opposition from crossing the try line. Hector S, Theo S and Aston B demonstrated this brilliantly. The score board was close in the end with Abingdon just gripping onto the win of 8-6, thank you to Tom H who chased a further 5 tries for the team, well done Tom H. This could not have been done without the supportive teammates who ran the field and kept themselves available for an open pass at all times. Irrespective of the score, the boys played an amazing game and gave it their all for the final match of the year!
