Rugby: Colts Red v Sibford (A)

Rugby: Colts Red v Sibford (A)

On an increasingly chilly Wednesday, 9 brave souls travelled up to the lovely Sibford School to play a game of tag rugby in the last rugby fixture of the school year. After being scuppered in previous weeks due to poor weather, the boys were keen and raring to go. After an excellent week of training where the boys had been working hard on their organisation and working as a team, skipper Theo S led from the front and Bruern began strongly with intense defence and free flowing attack. Within 5 mins Bruern were 3 tries up and Sibford played catch up throughout the game. Eduard H and Orlando H showed particular grace and fleet footedness to score 3 tries each. Mark R and William G defended with great strength and intensity. What was lovely was watching them work as a team. It was heartwarming and the cold weather became a mere memory! Well done boys! A great way to sign off the season.
