After a long bout of cold and wet weather postponing fixtures, the colts were very eager to get a solid game of rugby under their belts. Fortunately, the cancelled fixtures have given chance for some excellent training and development in games, which was all clear to see in the colts’ game against Cothill House.
The boys pulled together to come away with a 10-8 win in a well contested and tiring game, where there were some brilliant individual efforts, such as the runs from captain Will P, and Nico H, as well as the solid rucking from debutant Archie H-W. Some linked passages of play involving some lovely offloads and passes led to a few tries that the boys should be very proud of.
Well done to all of the boys involved, I certainly enjoyed coaching and watching you!
