Again, the weather forced our hand on Wednesday – a common theme to lessons and fixtures this term. This resulted in the traditional end of term house tournaments, being played on the 5-aside tarmac pitches of the tennis court. It was the first occasion the venue had been used for such events and staff weren’t sure how it would be received or played. Our concern soon changed to relief, then quickly to delight, as the boys showed great skill both individually and collectively, to provide a great display of just how much their football has developed this term. Well done to all the players and teams, both tournaments were great.
