This week we hosted our first ever home golf fixture at nearby kirtlington. Despite the wet morning, the skies cleared just in time for our early afternoon tee times. 6 boys were selected to take on a very talented Cott Hill team. The format was a pairs scramble and the boys had a great afternoon. Each match was very close, with 2 of the 3 matches being decided on the final green.
Who was the winner? As ever, Golf is always the winner. Thank you to the parents who joined us the clubhouse afterwards for a can of coke and a bag of crisps. Golf is growing from strength to strength at Bruern and we plan to have 3 fixtures in summer term.
