Bruern hosted The Oratory Prep in this week's 9 a side football fixture. Bruern started strongly, we held most of the possession and moved the ball around well in the early stages with Tom H being the centre of the good work. We created a few chances for James R to get a couple of shots away on goal but unfortunately were denied by the Oratory goalkeeper. With half time looming Jack W made a darting run into the box and rolled the ball into the corner to get us our opener.
With the half time talk focusing on us using width when going forward and not letting Oratory get back into the game, it didn't go to plan, they scored within the first couple of minutes. The boys showed great resilience and bounced back with James R, Freddie D (C) and Jack W all scoring. Final score 5-1 to Bruern.
