This Wednesday, the Colts Yellows headed to Cothill for a football tournament. As we made our way through the muddy terrain to the pitches, Hector E, our captain, led the team in some much-needed warm ups and excellent passing drills. We started off against last week's rivals, New College. This resulted in an unlucky 2-0 win to New College despite our best efforts to maintain possession on the ball. The boys picked themselves up for the second and final match against Cothill with a lot more enthusiasm and confidence. This was thanks to our Vice Captain, Adam H's words of encouragement during the team huddle. I am so proud of the boys' incredible teamwork skills on the pitch, they sure know how to put up a good fight. Unfortunately, Bruern came up just short as Cothill scored some unbelievable goals. It was a privilege to coach these boys as always.
They are all deserving of a well-rested and fun half term! See you in November.
