On Wednesday afternoon the Colts Yellows travelled to New College and played in an awesome game of football. The focus of the game was about enjoying themselves and trying their best irrespective of the final score. This was most definitely achieved.
Barnaby C started as our keeper, followed by Oscar B, and finished off by Arthur M who all managed to stop a number of goals, frustrating our opposition. By half time, there was nothing to separate the two sides as 1-1 read the scoreline. Bruern's goal came from Milo R. He dribbled from the halfway line, past the majority of the opposition, only to strike the ball past their keeper!
Despite our best efforts in an end-to-end second half, Bruern unfortunately came up just short. The score was 2-1 to New College. The boys were full of smiles and gave it their all. It was a privilege to be their coach for the day and I look forward to seeing how this group of boys get on next week vs Cothill House. Well done boys!
