This week we had the first home match in what has felt like forever and some boys were able to experience a fixture at BSA for the first time. After the one-sided nature of last week's match, the boys were keen to impress, and they did just that with a lightning start from kick off resulting in a chance straight away. Unfortunately for us the Ashfold goalkeeper made a once in a lifetime save to keep the score 0-0, as the half progressed the game became open with chances falling at both ends. Right on the stroke of half time it was the Ashfold players who were celebrating as they finally breached our defence.
A quick half time team talk and a squeeze from the water bottles and the boys were back on the field. Unfortunately, the second half did not go our way, and we ended up falling to a 4-0 loss. The boys did however show a vast improvement from last week and proved they were up to the task of winning some games in the near future.
Well done boys, keep up the good work in games sessions and the results will follow.
