It was very encouraging to see a marked growth in confidence and self-belief from the boys in the colts red team on Tuesday. The boys played a well spirited and competitive, back and forth game against Chesterton Primary School which ended in an unfortunate loss for Bruern, however the score didn't take away from some brilliant moments in the match that stood out hugely for me. Guy S set off on a number of charging runs and took all opportunities that he could, scoring 2 excellent goals in the game. Arthur M got stuck in throughout the game, showing enthusiasm in defence with many strong tackles which helped goalkeeper Barnaby C who equally showed great awareness in the box and made multiple convincing saves. I am looking forward to seeing further improvement and exciting fixtures from these boys as the season continues - a big well done to all that played!
