Bruern hosted CCCS at BSA for this week's cricket match. In the lovely sunshine CCCS elected to bowl first giving Bruern the first chance this term to set a target. With the pitch offering a bit of bounce CCCS took 2 early wickets of Henry A and Max M to really put the pressure on. Bruno T scored a fluent 25 and some powerful hitting by Chris E, which seemed to only deal in boundaries, saw us post 107 off our 20 overs.
Rupert N again bowled extremely well early doors but with some costly team extras CCCS were always in the game. Captain Olly F finished with match figures of 4-10 off his 4 overs but they still only needed 20 to win with 2 wickets in hand. Will B returned to finish the match in style taking both the remaining wickets to hand Bruern back-to-back wins.
