Bruern Abbey hosted Beachborough in the final cricket match of the summer term. Captain Balthazar B won the toss and elected to bowl. Anthony C opened up with a very fast and hostile bowling spell backed up by Bruno T at the other end. Scoring runs became much easier once the ball got older and Beachborough managed to reach 153 off their 20 overs. Rafer S and Max M opened the batting and Rafer S took the attack to them scoring 3 boundaries off the first 8 balls before being caught.
Unfortunately, we continued to lose wickets in regular intervals and were finally all out for 74. The boys have played some really good cricket this term regardless of the results and they should all be proud of their efforts.
