Prep school Spring term resumes
I hope you had a wonderful and active festive break. Lots of work occurred during the holidays to ensure Bruern was ready for another exciting term of sport. However, the weather (again!) played another trump card this week with lots of rain and chilling winds. Some boys enjoyed the plan B challenge of the resulting cross country on Tuesday. Whilst Wednesday was close to normal, Thursday saw the return of water-logged pitches and back-up plan C.
Upper school boys are playing football this term as their main sport. Several days of trials will take place to determine games groups and as always these groups remain fluid throughout term. Juniors continue with rugby until half term, then return to football. There were no inter-school matches this week, they resume next week with 6 matches against The Oratory and Summer Fields.
