Bruern travelled to Ashfold for the first cricket fixture of the term. The weather was on our side and in glorious sunshine Ashfold won the toss and elected to bowl. With the pitch proving tricky we lost wickets in clusters, slumping to 22 all out. George R and Rupert N bowled superbly with the new ball but with little runs to defend Ashfold managed to secure the win convincingly. We look forward to putting things right next week away at New College.
