Five newly formed Businesses ventured to Bruern Prep to sell their products as part of the Business and Enterprise project, which they started earlier in February. Each company had to pitch a bid for £30 start-up funding, they then produced a business plan and worked through the costs of the project. Over the last three weeks they have sourced stock, made items, and produced point of sale and advertising posters.
At the event they sold their products which included game cards, magic boxes, cupcakes, drinks, and waffles to an excited group of customers. A number of them will now be entering the ‘Tenner Challenge’, a new Bellevue schools' competition this summer.
