Burns Night

Special Events

Burns night this year was once again a solid mixture of Scottishness with a touch of deep fried Mars Bar. John, our visiting Piper, was in fine fettle, a number of boys donned kilts and all who gathered for the dinner were piped and sung to. A big thank you to our Burn's night choir and Mrs Mason for the excellent music. In keeping with tradition, Robert Burns' address of the Haggis was expertly carried out by Miss Ward and Mr Bryant did an excellent Selkirk Grace too. Amidst the excited atmosphere, the boys enjoyed some venison, haggis, neeps and tatties and were given a short talk of the life of the Bard too. I really hope fun was had by all!
