Christian joins Bruern Abbey Senior School from Oakwood School in Leicestershire, where he has worked since 2022 as a SENCo. Christian is a former Royal Marine who has a wide range of experience in boarding and SEN education, including having been Housemaster and SENCO at Welbeck College (The Defence Sixth Form College), following his navy career. Whilst there, he was in charge of dive expeditions to Egypt and Mexico and supported outdoor education programmes, including mountain climbing in Scotland and Wales. Christian has a MSc in Educational Leadership from Leicester University and holds the NASENCO qualification.
