Bruern Abbey currently welcomes boys aged 8–16 across our Prep and Senior Schools.
From September 2026, we will also begin welcoming girls to the Prep School, followed by the Senior School in September 2027 as we move to co-education.
Bruern Abbey is an inclusive, independent setting situated within a 19th-century building, with extensive facilities that supports learning both inside the classroom and extensive opportunities outside our teaching areas. This environment encourages independence, social interaction, and physical development. However, the open nature of the 20 acre site, and the level of support available may not be suitable for all pupils.
