Kwik Cricket: Colts B VIII v Chesterton Away]

Eight enthusiastic colts took the very short trip to Chesterton Primary School on Wednesday afternoon for a quiet and surprisingly warm afternoon of kwik cricket. The boys begun by batting in pairs, beginning to loosen up and have a bit more fun with their shots which was great to see, whilst enjoying a fair level of competition from their Chesterton opponents in fielding. The boys finished their innings with 162 runs (having started with 100). Ebu K opened the bowling for Bruern well, showing some well-practiced skills and thoroughly enjoying it, with many of the boys opting to bowl throughout the innings and Mark R bowling one player out. A couple of great catches from the Bruern boys sealed a convincing win in the end, making for a very happy set of colts returning to Bruern.

Well done to all boys involved!
